All home sleep tests are independently analysed by in-house, experienced NHS-qualified sleep clinicians, and the equipment offers accuracy comparable to an overnight private sleep study conducted at a hospital or sleep clinic.
To take one of our home sleep studies, you must be 18 or older and have a BMI below 45.
Sleep Apnoea Test at Home
Our In-Home Sleep Test provides a quick, convenient and affordable way to confirm Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) in your home.
Our detailed Home Sleep Study uses the revolutionary WatchPAT device, which provides accuracy comparable to Polysomnography (PSG), a method used in hospitals and sleep clinics for in-depth sleep analysis. The WatchPat device monitors your blood oxygen levels, heart rate, body position, body movements, snoring intensity, and, crucially, your Peripheral Arterial Tone – a critical physiological signal that can indicate breathing disturbances during sleep.
Despite being simple to use and comfortable to wear, the information it records gives our sleep technicians a comprehensive picture of your sleep, allowing them to return an accurate result.
Which test option is best for me?
We offer two Sleep Apnoea Tests – Rapid and Standard. Both sleep studies are the same in terms of price and accuracy; the Rapid tests allow for results earlier than the Standard test because the data is transferred to us via your smartphone rather than waiting for the device to be posted back to us to download.
Before ordering the Rapid test, please ensure you have a compatible smartphone. You can download the WatchPat Apple app or the WatchPat Android app.
Don’t have a compatible smart device? No problem—you can order the standard test. Your results will take a little longer to arrive as you will need to post the device back to us.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The test requires removal of any form of artificial nails, including acrylic nails, gel nails and nail polish. This is due to the impact on test accuracy.
